What is a Tropical Almond?
Tropical Almond is naturally widespread in subtropical and tropical zones of Indian and Pacific Oceans and planted extensively throughout the tropics. They are mostly planted as ornamental plants. Tropical Almond trees can be found all across Ghana, mostly in the southern parts. They are able to withstand drought and are also salt tolerant. They are locally known in Ghana as Abrofo-nkate. Though not almonds, they look and taste like the conventional almond, but with so many more uses.
with every purchase, you are helping to feed a hungry child in Ghana.
An Oil for A Meal Project
For every Abrofo-nkatie oil purchased, Tropical Almond donates another Abrofo-nkatie Mix to a child in a rural area of Ghana. The aim of this project is to improve nutrition for rural children whose families cannot afford to provide them with a well-balanced diet. But we don’t want to stop at just one child, we want to be able to keep these meals coming to the children. Your purchase helps exactly with that!
